get smart was cute! definately my favorite steve carrell movie.  i didn't buy the chemistry between him and agent 99 though.  since i AM a slasher, i saw wayyyy more potential for max and 23.  there were sooo many scenes that just SCREAMED slash.  i mean, max idolized 23.  23 called ahim "maxy." pet names, boys? haha.  23 defends max's honor in the meeting, not letting the other agents be mean to him.  23 built up max's confidence in the paint-ball game.  max was concerned about 23's injury.  23 was worried about max being in the field without him.  23 was upset that max and 99 were an item.  23 made sure max was locked up in DC, on the other side of the country from the bomb.

Having a no self-esteem day.  Those are the day's it's best to remind myself that I'm pretty, too.

the search parties found the pregnant woman from ohio (jessie something...davis? david?).  then they arrested the father of her two year old son and her unborn baby girl.  the guy was never a suspect.  he was a freakin cop in the town, too.  the two year old little boy SAW it, telling his gramma that his mama was in the rug.  WHAT THE HELL, man??  i've very quickly learned over the past couple of years to never get married, to never tell anyone your pregnant, and if you're married never tell your husband your pregnant.  if you do, it seems like you've got a 95% chance of getting knocked off.
investigators take forever to solve cases, and from the time the story hits the airwaves everybody already knows who did it.  the husband/boyfriend/lover/father-of-the-baby.  it's ALWAYS the guy...or the guy's ridiculously ugly lover.

conclusion: people really suck most of the time.  go to church, or at least have something/someone smack some semblence of ethics/morals into you, people.  let's not go to hell any quicker than we have to, shall we?
